It’s no secret that my days photographing weddings are behind me, but to have the opportunity to photograph an engagement session for lifelong friends turned family, I couldn’t say no. And I’m so glad I didn’t, because look at what we captured! Documenting Avery and Mike is capturing the purest of love. They have such an easy and unspoken bond that it’s hard to believe they haven’t been together for a decade at this point. They are effortless together, and even moreso with their precious pup Rogue in the mix. Only the greatest of things are ahead for these two together; they are even more beautiful inside than they are outside (if you can believe it) and I’m so grateful I got to create a little time capsule of who they are in 2023 for their children and grandchildren to look back on one day.
