There are some weddings that are just extra special, and there are some couples that are extra special. Bolling and Moultrie and their incredible wedding day were extra, extra special. When I met these two for their engagement photos back in December, I instantly felt like I’d known them for years. I’m sure that everyone they meet feels this way…they just have the most beautiful personalities, and anyone who is lucky enough to count Bolling and Moultrie as friends are lucky enough.
Naturally I could not have been more excited for their wedding at Dunes West Golf & River Club in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The forecast all week was glum, but I knew that if any couple could handle rain on their wedding day, it’d be these two. Sure enough at 5:30, rain drops started falling on their guests seated on the edge of the creek awaiting the start of the ceremony. Umbrellas popped up and everyone was concerned. But then as Bolling walked down the aisle just seconds later (looking absolutely effortless in one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve seen in a long time!) with her brother at her side, the rain was gone. Not another drop all day long.
The celebration that ensued was incredible. Bolling and Moultrie enjoyed dinner alone to themselves, then mingled with their friends and family, and soon after the band had EVERYONE on the dance floor. The dance party was insane! The night ended with Bolling & Moultrie running through an aisle of sparklers and exiting in a classic car…one for the books, seriously! I could not be more appreciative to have been a part of such a beautiful day and am so excited to share these images!
