Over a year ago, we photographed Laurel’s bridal portraits ahead of her May 2020 wedding to James. Literally days later, the pandemic became full blown and everything changed, including Laurel & James’ wedding plans. They decided to postpone their destination wedding to Wavering Place outside of Columbia, South Carolina and instead eloped, just the two of them, in Florida. I’m so glad they did it this way (they are too!), and now they finally get to celebrate their big reception with friends and family from near and far (James is Canadian!). If Laurel’s incredible style and personality is even a tiny glimpse into how fun their big celebration will be, then we’re all in for a treat!
